Light-hearted, funny novel about a miracle healer who gets summoned to solve an emperor's malady, beginning her adventures in the outside world. She's incomparably ugly due to a black seal on her face, while her 师妹 is an incomparable beauty. When the seal is removed by the male lead, she is able to see and interact with spirits.
I'm only about a quarter through the book, but it seems like the male lead knows her from a previous life (and he hints that she's betrothed to him).

It's not as well developed of a story line as I originally thought. Too many tropes just mashed together.

The woman was not talking to the main character... Her anger was toward the man she loved and yearned for.
