Being a below average student, Wen Yuan was always getting into all sorts of trouble especially in school. Everytime she lands herself in a mess, any sort of mess, the first person she thinks of, is her uncle, Wen Xing Zhi. And each time, he will appear to save the day for her.

But Wen Xing Zhi practices double standard, so of course, the twenty five year old criteria obviously does not apply and was breached when he is the candidate of love!!!
A simple and tender story between a man and his young niece, of how love can blossom, and grow quietly, unknowingly.
Aaarrrggghhhhhh……..I love this book. I love it becoz of its subtlety. Their love is so subtle, not loud, not exaggerated. There is no sudden sparks. It is also not the usual story were he loved her since she was a baby. For her, what started of as fear and respect for her uncle grew into love for him over time. For him, what started of as protection and guardianship over his niece gradually grew into an unyielding love for her.
Blood-related uncle??? Isn’t it a taboo love? An incestuous relationship? Is it allowed by the law? Luckily I don’t like my uncles, lol. Found you a cute fan-made MV with Hu Ge & Moon Geun Young.

Pm, did you finish reading any of Xin Yi Wu’s books? She doesn’t write abt mustard. Her books are gourmet food. So is Gu Man’s books, money back guarantee you no mustard, lol. I heard Warm Chord is nice, I think suitable for your taste but I’ve not had time to read it yet:)
