This novel has more than a thousand chaps. Since I m not on a suicide mission, I won't read it. I also have not read the English translation so no comment on its quality. I understood that you've to read it with your mobile as the online chaps are mostly locked. I m not sure if u've to pay or not. I read some ppl complaining abt the use of English names. I guess they are doing it for the benefit of the Western readers since it is easier for them to follow as Chinese names are quite a mouthful. Even the cover of this translated novel is a picture of a Caucasian girl.
I've listened to a few chaps of the Chinese audio book & it is pretty good with multiple voices. You do have to pay for most of the chaps. It seems quite expensive with so many chaps but if you convert to USD, it costs abt the price of a paperback?
I think the manhua and anime are free but you may need to pay for them later, I don't know, Anyway 暢讀書城 (Chang Reading City) is very entrepreneur, just like Qidian, producing their novels in all forms of multi-media. Popular novels by Gu Man, Tong Hua, Ding Mo etc don't even have anime.
I don't really fancy CEO text because they are very similar so I always ended up mixing them all up. Also, they are too long-winded, have abusive male lead, absurd plot & lack character development etc. But I am watching the anime because it is short and quite pretty & funny. I think it is a summarized version of the novel which is good. I can recognise the dubbing in the anime is the voices from the audio book. Maybe they are also using the manhua to create the anime. I did glance at the English subs in the anime & they are okay, at least understandable. Come to think of it, the subtitles could be from the English translated novel.
I like the anime of the this book more than trapped with the ceo.
