A rather nice & detailed MV with a young Hu Ge:) I post this book bcos of this MV. Oh, the MV makes me wanna read this book. Maybe I'll get google to read to me after I finish the radio drama which is too short. There is more singing than reading:( I hope cxt8 will pick up this novel as it is quite highly rated & the story sound very wuxia, my style:) The title of this book plus the names of the protagonists are rather nice. Btw Chancy, the comments said this book is very Cang Yue's style. Vol 1 very wuxia & vol 2 more on romance.

No, no, there is only 1 main couple. After returning to Central Plains, they resumed their actual identities. When in Tianshan, they were under the ctrl of the evil master & have to do many bad things. This book is abt the hypocrisy of the ppl in the wuxia world which is quite interesting.
The 2 novels that Chancy posted sound interesting but too twisted for my weak heart. I think I better stick to this kind where the leads are flawed yet also likeable compared those weirdos, lol.
i see!! are you reading an audio? chancy showed me audio drama, but it's so short. & now that you say it's the same couple, it sounds a lot more romantic that they look for each other when they got separated.
i know, especially that Wildflower one, after sherry came back and said what it was about i was like wth... The 9 Palace Dream one was better though. At least the main couple isn't twisted. it reminds me of a more twisted ver. of Zhu Xian where the guy is forced into the 'evil' side by the good side all pointing knives at him and the only one standing by his side is a girl from the 'evil' side. I am totally off topic eh =_=

Wow, u must have been camping here to find one of my fav ancient novels :P This is just a notch below Who Gets The World bcos I find book 2 average only. But don't worry, you've your happy ending. Anything posted by me, sure has HE unless I tell u otherwise :P
Book 1 is quite bleak & suspenseful, very diff fr your normal palace and wuxia ancient novels. I like the relationship b/w the leads where the female is stronger lol. But I've to warn you, I can't remember any humor in this novel, at least not in book 1.
License had been sold to yumama & he'll start to film this into drama next year. Crying buckets of tears now to mourn for one of my fav novel :(
