I Devoted My Youth to You 恋爱吧,就像不曾受过伤害一样 – 木槿天蓝 Mu Jin Tian Lan

In those best times of our lives, we write down each other’s names, so that we will not be afraid that one day we would become separated.

Before the age of 20, in Su Jin’s world, all things in the world is no more than two kinds, one kind is what she wants, the other kind is what she does not want.

After the age of 20,  after encountering Yan Bo, Su Jin suddenly realizes that in the world there is actually something that she wants, yet can not have: a special thing called love.

And so, she gambles away everything to chase him, giving up the time of her most beautiful youth without a care.

It’s not that Yan Bo is not touched, but on him he carries too much of a gloomy past, and is covered in scars from the harshness of reality; making him afraid to free himself  and open his heart to accept love.

Badly hurt from love, will Su Jin still have the strength and courage too hold on?

In the end, will they choose love or turn away from it? This is all not important, what is important is the dreams of youth because once youth has passed, it is gone.

  • Chancy, are you reading this book with google? I saw this book b4 but she sound a bit like Wei Wei in Lost Youth. Got good ending? If yes, might try this book after my holidays. Lidge, if you've read this, pls tell me if this author has a sense of humour:)?

  • No, haven't read this peanuts. It was just published last month in Viet. Got to give it time for kind souls to share it.

  • I like her alot more than Zheng Wei. Im using audio book. Same reader as eastern palace. This book also have more otp action than Youth. Takes place in college and ends in career.

Only 1 voice? I don't really fancy tat EP's reader's voice. Happy ending? Leave a msg after you finish the book as I might read it later if your feedback is positive. You need to give ZW a chance as she is a lot better after college.

  • Im still before their break up. They're of different social class. She's of the upper middle class and he's of the poor class. Its so funny when her uncle says, I really want to meet this mortal you speak of. Haha.

Its pretty interesting. We always read cinderella stories but this one is opposite.

Really like it so far, regardless of the audio book. Her voice fits the girl very well, its just her guy voice isn't good compared with other readers.

Yah, I remember her voice is rather weak & soft. She should have gotten Bu gege or some other male to read to enhance my enjoyment, lol.

  • I cried so much reading this. The main girl loves the guy so much. The main guy is like Meng Jiu and breaks up with her. This guy is luckier.

  • It's the girl that read Eastern Palace? I don't like her... heh

Now there's no way gonna read it, since Chancy went and secretly read it without me =.=

Oh, our raini is not happy at being left in the dark:) In retaliation, come & read Mirage with me & atsu, lol.

  • I finished a qtr of the book. It is ok. But yan bo is staid and boring compared to chi cheng. I do not understand why that girl so into him. Yawn yawn, lol. She recycled some music fr eastern palace. I like that song sang by jeff Chang and carina Lau, alwAys sing it in karaoke, haha...which audio book u gonna listen next. Oh I still like author xin books the best. If a male voice read yan bo part I might like this book better but I still not keen on him. He is not funny at all, not my kind of guy.
