This arouse my interest in the book so I listened to the incomplete radio drama. So far I quite like it but only 2 parts have been released:( It is indeed a rather funny & cute book about campus life. I even found an incomplete manhua.
Also, this book should be suitable for a silly girl, you know who you are:P
I saw the synopsis and was interested to read. After reading the first paragraph I realized I read this book halfway before hahaha. Not really my kind of novel because its a bit xiao bai but thanks peanuts for constantly updating ^^ I’m looking for novels where the male lead is like one in Li Chuan Wang Shi.

Huh, Lidge complained non-stop abt how she was duped into reading Li Chuan becos of Godfrey but the book is so boring. Haha, to each its own. But Fang Yu Ke is really quite nice & sweet eventhough he doesn’t express it explicitly.

Very cute and funny college story, i’ve read and liked. It’s funny and cute, the epilogue is pretty cute becos it’s form the viewpt of the male lead.
It’s a cute story abt this girl who’s an avg student but suddenly gets an intelligence burst so she unexpectedly gains admission to the best uni in China, hence the title “Weak Student”………i think the Viet translation is cuter becos it’s sort of like “Beijing University’s Bad Student” ………..also admitted to the uni is the male lead who is the best student from her school…..she’s known of him for several yrs since they go to the same school but doesn’t think a superstar like him would notice her
Funny junk so off course happy ending………..it’s not until the epilogue form the male lead’s viewpt where we realize the main couple have known each from kindergarten but she just doesn’t rmb him lol.

Looks like universities in china run along a similar concept as North American ones. Only thing is whoever heard of swimming being a compulsory course unless you’re majoring in phys ed.
Don’t expect a super strong male lead here but a very sentimental one becoz he loved the girl since they met and studied in the same kindie for just one month some fifteen years ago. They lost touch when Fang Yu Ke moved away and after he found Lin Lin again in secondary school, he starting ‘spying’ on her and following very closely with her progress in school. As her results have always been erratic, he was all prepared to follow her to a second or third tier university, but as luck would have it, she did extremely well in her high school exam and managed to get into Beijing U.
Yu Ke could have had the prettiest and smartest girl but he stuck his heart and soul to Lin Lin, proving that opposites do attract. But besides looks and intelligence, Lin Lin actually has a very likeable and sunny personality. And she’s quite crude for a girl. She doesn’t think twice about making lewd remarks even in the presence of men. While most female leads in other books were generally tricked or forced into moving in / cohabiting with the male lead, Lin Lin is the opposite. She wanted to move into Yu Ke’s apartment and he agree but on condition that she must score an average of 85. Yu Ke is definitely not our usual black belly.
On the whole, a cute book with a nicely written epilogue. Read this book if you’re in the market looking for a silly billy book or if you’re in high school wanting to have an insight of university life.

This book bring back sweet memories from university…FYK really prove to be the most “mature” lead…He “book” his gal when he was only 5 years old….he not only has marriage in mind when they met in the university, he even have the name of their child settled. Lin Lin has a very sunny deposition despite being just an average looking gal..I like their very witty conversations. But the angst and the sudden love from WenKai was a bit force…..A warm hearted book…I wonder how common is it in China for female / male graduate to marry immediately upon getting their degree????
