Ordinary high school student Yan Ze is secretely in love with her desk-mate Ji Xiao who is not only the most handsome boy in school but also a top student. But Yan Ze is neither particularly beautiful nor does she have a particularly good figure, and her grades are only so-so as well.

Loved the drama. I am trying to read the book when I have time. Such a wonderful story about friendship and the misunderstandings of girls in middle and high school. The drama really captures the emotions well, without all the dramatics of American High School life.
