I've not read this novel so I welcome any spoiler or summary on it. It is a popular novel but also freaking long so I am not gonna read it. The drama adapted from the novel has started filming with Ma Tian Yu & Sun Yi. It is rumored that Wallace Chung may guest star in the drama as the older counterpart because it is directed by the director of My Sunshine. I am afraid he may not have a good ending :(
It is now official that Wallace Chung will take part in the drama adapted from this novel. He'll play the role of Cheng Tian You, a male lead, not a guest star. When I translated what was spoken by him a few yrs ago, the butterfly analogy left a deep impression on me. From what I read in baidu, his character will be another God-like male lead who'll do anything for the female lead. Wah, he seems even more devoted than He Yi Chen :P
[spoiler] In the novel, the female lead Jiang Sheng will marry Cheng Tian You so hippee hooray WC will get the girl lol. But she is young enough to be his daughter :( If you are Ma Tian Yu's fan, here is a tissue for u :( Then the shocking book ending where you'll need lots of tissue for Wallace & Sun Li :( With such a sorrowful title, what do you expect?
