I haven't read the book but I actually liked the drama a lot more than I did "Lover From Another Star". I obsessively checked for episodes every week back when it first aired and just really love this OTP to the moon. The story also has much more plot, and I actually care about XLQ's mysterious past to not fast forward like I typically do with other dramas. I need season 2!
I also watched the drama only, and the ending of is she or is she not part is killing me!!! I like that the drama moves pretty quickly with 20 plus ep instead of the usual 40 plus for china drama. I also like the OTP, one being super expressive and the other super deadpan adds a lot of comedic moments to the show.
