The Imperial Concubine Just Wants To Be a Salted Fish Every Day / Everyday Senior Concubine Just Wants to Be a Salted Fish / My Cute Concubine 贵妃每天只想当咸鱼 by 大果粒 Da Guo Li (HE)

Xiao Xixi traveled back to ancient times and became one of the crown prince’s concubines.

It should be the beginning of the power and love struggles in the imperial palace, but she just wanted to be a salted fish (a Chinese term used to describe people who have no intention of doing anything).

Compete for favor? No way!

Salted fish is the road to survival, mix with eating and waiting for death is the true meaning of life!

But, Crown Prince Gao Leng loves her type very much.

……

Father Xiao: Daughter, you have to live up to your expectations, our family is counting on you to hitch a ride to the sky on the dragon and phoenix (Chinese idiom meaning currying favor with the rich and powerful in the hope of advancement)!
Xiao Xixi: No, I’m just a salted fish.

Palace maid: Little Mistress, you have to live up to your expectations, you must defeat those green tea b*tches (a Chinese term used to describe ambitious women who pretend to be very innocent) to become the crown princess!
Xiao Xixi: No, I’m just a salted fish.

Crown Prince: My beloved concubine, you have to live up to your expectations, I am counting on you to carry on the ancestral line!
Xiao Xixi: No, I’m just a salted fish.
Crown Prince: It doesn’t matter, I can also be a salted fish.

  • I am reading the manhua. It is rather cute and funny. The FL is probably one of the most lazy person I've ever encountered in a novel/manhua, who only wants to eat and sleep :) Her relationship with the ML is hilarious. But the ML is rather bland so at times the manhua feels a bit flat & dull.

  • I MTL-ed this a while back, and it's so good! I highly recommend it. It's fast-paced and well-written. Their are 1400+ chapters but they are short.
