At the start of the story, Mu Yu was happily counting down to the last few weeks of his marriage. He has arranged Yi An to marry him 2 years ago, and it was nearly time to end the charade and take back his precious freedom. After Yi An is done visiting and taking care of her father-in-law one day, Mu Yu dropped her off in front of a club and instructed her to flirt. He acknowledged that this could be challenging given that she is so ordinary - but if she hike up her skirt, show some cleavage, maybe it should be enough to do the trick. After a few days of clubbing, news will soon spread of their marriage hitting the rocks and no one will find it strange when he files for divorce subsequently.
Yi An is speechless that Mu Yu plans to pin the reason of their divorce on her and thinks of a way to retaliate. As they continue to outdo each other, the couple ends up falling in love on an untypical road to divorce.
After reading a few of her stories, I thought that this author is rather interesting with her storyline and she don’t believe in silly miscommunication plot devices, Picking a story about a couple falling in love when they are getting ready to divorce, I thought the idea is rather refreshing and thought you may like it too.

Thanks for the recommendation!! This was a breezy read, although I was worried that the male lead would be cruel towards our female lead at the beginning. My fears were unfounded. Liked this short story! Wished that it could be longer and their relationship more fleshed out. Maybe a longer road to understanding each other? Although I guess they didn't have to - they were afterall married for 2 years.
Thanks for the recommendation, I loved this book. I read it literally in one evening. Not the standard way to love. Reading this story, you understand that the deepest trauma we inflict on our parents and those we love.
Also the next day I read the second book in this series Not a perfect marriage 季可蔷 不理想结婚. This is the love story of friend Jian Yi An - Chuan Mo and Doctor Dai Sijin, which are mentioned several times in this book; Their path is more difficult and thorny. Them path is more difficult and thorny. But it is also a story with a good ending.
