Read half of this book. My typical fave male lead, strong, handsome and rich hahaha. But then the book kept on revolving about the female lead feeling neglected and wanting to divorce, but in the end, she will just succumb to the male lead's sweet talk. LOL. Got a bit irritating after that! Will continue this book when I'm free.
I am really curious after reading the summary, how can the heroine forgive the cheating and the flaunting of his mistress in front of her? Did Lu Xiang Bei at least grovel a little?
If you do not already know, this book will be adapted into a drama starring Hawick. I don't know how close the drama will follow the book. I recommended this novel to cloud bcos I tut the male lead is deaf since she has a fetish for 'disabled' males, lol.
After reading the synopsis, this has the shadow of Sealed With a Kiss but instead of the mistress being the protagonist, this book has the wife. I think bcos Sealed With a Kiss has good response so Hawick wants to repeat its success with book of the same kind.
Hi Emi. That wasn't his mistress. The reason why he treats the 'mistress' so nicely is because he promised his brother to take care of her. But this plot sounds familiar, because this 'mistress' is a KTV girl...
But anyway, before the girl found out the truth, she was pretty undecisive hahas. Read about 3/4 of this book, but take note that I have skip a lot of content because it was soooo draggy. Not a book I would really recommend haha!
Thanks for answering my question. I really hate when I read a book where the heroe puts in priority another woman for some reason, and expect the heroine to be understanding, without even explaining the reason. In this kind o books I skip some parts of the book too.
Well, most romance novels are written from the female lead's point of view, so as readers, we only get to see what the female lead knows and not what the male lead thinks. Hence, there will be misunderstandings between the male and female leads, since the female lead cannot read the male lead's mind. That is exactly why I prefer novels written from the third person omniscient point of view. That way, we readers get to see into every character's thoughts.
Oh sorry, cloudy as I dun know this book is of such poor quality. The book review is indeed average. Wonder why Hawick wanna adapt it into a drama. Anyway since he is the star, I am pretty sure he gonna change the focus to himself so you'll see plenty from his point of view. In conclusion, skip the book & wait for the drama:)
