The Rhapsody of Summer Dream 夏梦狂诗曲 by 天籁纸鸢/君子以泽 (HE)

Love is like a flower, the most beautiful in full bloom but the most cruel when withering.

Like all the beautiful dreams have disappeared, all the illusions have also disappeared, brutally revealing the naked and ugly truth that was bred in darkness. Past memories turned into the dark night, eyeing him covetously from a high place.

In life concerto, you are the most memorable cadenza.

Once upon a time, music was Pei Shi’s life. Although an accident made her lost the use of her left hand and could no longer play the violin, she returned to the city which she once lived with a new identity, to launch the career of a violinist who she had trained for many years. Hence she once again entered this elegant world which she had lost contact with. Finally, step by step, she started to get close to the targets in her plan: a big brother who she used to like, the cold and detached second son of the Summer Group and also a blurry figure in an old photograph ……

This book tells the story of a female musical genius who continued to pursue her dream even after experiencing various hardships. If love is like life, I would like to be born on the day of meeting you, live in the time of loving you and die at the moment of parting with you.

Oh, I’ve read this : ) there’s 3 books in all if I am not mistaken. I prefer TLZH’s “思念成城” but this is quite good, plenty of insight into classical music. Both the lead and second lead male in this story are quite dashing.

This novel gives me the feel of those korean long drama. It’s fairly dramatic, but I still enjoyed it. The end has many twists that are pretty shocking. I would have wished they swapped the guys in the drama around, honestly do not think they fit.

I’m reading Rhapsody now! The many-voiced audiobook, I think the second lead’s voice is nicer. Sadly, that’s going to lead to me getting on the wrong ship. Maybe I will go back to read her Reignited Fire Over The Moon after though, I have a feeling it’s going to be good, I’m a total sucker for her ancient novels.
