I thought this was an enjoyable story. While I was reading it, I thought this would make a good drama adaptation then lo and behold, I read that the rights have been bought (hopefully not by Yumama) so maybe there will be a drama adaptation after all. I’m satisfied with the ending because although the ending was sad in the ancient lifetime, I like the fact that the main couple meet again in modern time in their reincarnated forms to continue their love story, which shows that they are truly fated with each other. The female lead character reminds me of Ariel Lin’s character in Lan Ling Wang.
It does sound like lan ling wan! Why does the male lead sound so cruel?
Lidge, does the story have a happy ending ?
A man and a woman suddenly die at the same time. – seems like the male and female lead die at the same ?
Not necessarily cruel but cunning. The male lead has to be cunning because he has to compete with his younger brother to be the ruler of the Huns. The two brothers could not stand each other so they both realize whoever loses would be killed by the winner. I found the male lead to be very smart and particularly loved how he set up the trap to destroy his younger brother.
I’m too lazy to retype so I’ll copy & paste what I said in the first comment 😛

This happens at the beginning of the story to catch the reader’s attention. This is the reincarnated forms of the main couple in modern time so at the end, it’s actually happy ending because they meet each other again.

Thank you for your recommendation. It is about perfume right? Wah, such a super long book with 640 pages. The synopsis sounds interesting. Before I consider whether to start reading this book, I need to know if there is a happy ending???? Also, is there a Viet translation? (I can’t read Viet but lidge can)
I have the link to the Viet translation but the website is temporary under construction. you can revisit it after Jan 18th ^^:http://kites.vn/thread/-tieu-thuyet-hien-dai-hao-mon-kinh-mong-i-99-ngay-lam-co-dau-an-tam-hoi-10-chuong-28-het-chinh-van–352401-1-1.html
It’s a happy ending story. No worries 🙂 When i read the first few chapters i really hate the male lead. but as the story talks more about his feeling, i was totally hooked with his book <3
Want some spoil? give you one hint: Actually the male lead has known the male lead few years ago…and of course she doesn't know that…one more thing, he is not her sister's boyfriend. he doesn't love her sister…okay, that's it for the spoil…I think i'm revealing too much hints now, haha…All you need is to be patient and continue reading…and I'm sure you'll love it!
