I posted this book for Atsu who I hope is still lurking around:P The movie was released recently with Yang Mi etc. I think the words of mouth is that it is not good so better wait for the drama, read the books or listen to the audiobooks. I heard the book is better written. Btw the books are written by a guy !!! Yes, you read it right. I think he is a 30 yo young man who has made it big with the books and manhua selling like hotcakes plus the film & drama rights.
I got the audiobooks from a new source which I think should sound okay as they are very popular. I even stumbled upon Bu gege there & he thinks that I am stalking him, lol. Come on, I am just always at the look out for something good as well as free, haha…As for the manhua, they are incomplete even after searching very hard on the worldwide web. I think all together, the manhua has 8 volumes or more. Thus if you are a fan, pls buy them and share with us, heehee…
I listened to the audiobook last night. It is not really good but if you are too lazy or can’t read, this is your only option until the drama is released.
Hi! I am really interested in this movie. Surprisingly, I think there is a drama on this novel starring Yang Mi too.
Anyway, I was wondering if this novel is really good. I watched Kang Xi Lai Le and apparently thus novel has topped the charts in Taiwan. And the novel author is a short but REALLY RICH young man. Inspiring story!! Looks are not everything. Haha.
Indeed there is also a drama but I think they are releasing the movies first as they can make more money. The author GJM is a business man who is marketing savvy. You can google & read abt his rag to riches story. I saw his picture before, he is not bad looking. Many girls are lining up but he said he has no time, lol.
I don’t really like his realistic and reflective of life kind of books. Too close to real life, too sad:( Since you don’t like white text (xiao bai wen), you can read this & 2 of his other books which are 梦里花落知多少 (male lead is ranked 90 on my 100 most attractive male leads) and River of Sorrow (ranked 87). Then pls tell me why are they attractive:P
Haha peanuts! I still can’t use that link but I finally found a website after 3 attempts. >< http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_t1A8KxXl4 quality is good also! I think the story didn't flow really well but I like the poems (?) that Guo Jingming wrote.
Oh goodness!! Thank you so much Peanuts!! I’ve been out of the country for the past month but I’m back now! And this just makes my day! I owe you a long email very soon!
hi, I’ve just recently came across this movie and found out that it is actually from the book series… could you pls tell me if I can find the book but in english somewhere? 🙁
As far as I know, currently there is no English translated book but Guo Jing Ming is a very business-minded writer so there may be one in the making or later. In the meantime, you can listen to the audiobook or watch the drama which shall be released soon. The best I can do is find you an interesting article as well as a short excerpt from the book.

Hi! I recently came across the movie and would be interested in reading the books (attempting to improve my Chinese!). Just wondering, are there both books and manga for the Tiny Times series? I also have a couple of questions about the books, if you don’t mind: How many books are there in total (as in the complete series)? Also, any idea where I can get them online? I’m currently living in UK and it’s really difficult to get hold of any Chinese books here 🙁
I didn’t read the novel but can try to answer your qns. I think there are 3 books in total. Click on [Ebook 1] etc links in the synopsis section on top of this page to get to the free Ebooks. Yes, there are manga for the series but you’ll never be able to find them completely online bcos of copyright violations so you need to buy them.
Thanks Peanuts! 🙂
