I don’t care about Zhou Dong Yu. Apparently, she doesn’t have a good relationship with CX. hahaha I’m so bad… but she’s really cute, so it’s ok.

Hahahaha! Oh if it’s the same person, then I may enjoy it. Except it’s six books! Gosh.

I went to google her books and nope don’t think I’ve read her before. But, one of her novels – called “Maid/Servant” looks good, so I might put that on my to read list. Haha.

    Hi Peanuts and gang,

I want to start reading Chinese romance books but I am just a beginner. Could you recommend me a few simple books to start with? I really like all your postings especially the spoilers and avidly read all the comments on all your books postings.

    Thank you! 🙂

    Hi Peanut,

Thanks for yr prompt suggestions. What is online game novels? Further are there any C novels with han yu pin yin on top n d Chinese characters below tat would be helpful. Reading the book translation wont help me improve more… I do understand Mandarin and know how to read some but only at beginners level. I want to start reading some simple modern romance instead of liatening to improve more tho I love ancient C stories but the vocab even in C dramas floored me 🙂

I mean d vocab in ancient C dramas especially when it comes to war, poem recitals, proverbs etc…..

    Hello Shir,

Hmmm chinese books with pinyin, I think you might have to check with the physical bookstores! Peanuts translates many modern c novels actually, it may be helpful to read those books she translates in chinese, and then you can check her translations if you have doubts!
