Bongsd, hey I rushed this synopsis just for you, lol. Don’t confuse this with the kdrama with the same name as they are pole apart. This will be your darling Chen Xiao’s next drama where filming will start in March. The drama is based on a super long novel so you probably will get to see him in more than 50 episodes of pure drama in modern clothings. Most ppl want to see him partner with Zhao Li Ying again but you get Zhou Dong Yu instead. Come on, we can’t always have the same pairing.
This novel is pretty old and written by a Taiwanese, I think published in 2005 or before. But it is very popular and with good reviews until I can even find a translated Thai copy. Thus, I think there should be a Viet translation which you can read if you can’t wait for the drama. But there are 6 books, so you’ve been warned:P Don’t worry, there are 2 endings, one tragic & one happy so make sure you read the right ending, lol. I hope the drama will have 2 endings for us to choose or pick the happy ending. If the drama has a sad ending, spoiler spoiler, your dear will kick the bucket:(

Haha, you read so many Taiwanese novels b4, you should know their style:P Yup, same person. Actually the story is rather typical and the twists are not that believable but the comments said it is written in a touching way so you need a hanky. I am not gonna read this bcos I gonna watch the drama, lol.

Hello, thank you for your support. I’ve never heard of romance novel for beginner. Maybe you can try comic (manhua) books. For beginner, you definitely must stay away from ancient & online game novels. Just try any modern novels you like the synopsis. Use google translate to help you along or find a book with translation. Can you understand Mandarin at all? If yes, you can give the audio book a try.

Reading the book translation wont help me improve more… I do understand Mandarin and know how to read some but only at beginners level. I want to start reading some simple modern romance instead of liatening to improve more tho I love ancient C stories but the vocab even in C dramas floored me 🙂

Hmmm chinese books with pinyin, I think you might have to check with the physical bookstores! Peanuts translates many modern c novels actually, it may be helpful to read those books she translates in chinese, and then you can check her translations if you have doubts!
Online game novel is novel with playing internet game as the setting eg. the female & male leads met & interacted with each other online.
You can copy & paste the Chinese sentences into google translate. It’ll read to you, give you no good English translation but still understandable & there is also pin yin below. If your first language is not English, you can even get google to translate the Chinese to other languages. Go & explore Chinese novels with google translate.
