The world in this story seems pretty unique from other stories from the same Xian Xia genre. We have a general called Cui Peng who the Heavenly Emperor really likes. Cui Peng is very popular up there in the realm of the Gods/Xians. I’m wondering if he’s actually a mortal or a xian? He seems like a mortal to me, but he probably has a complicated background. It gives me a strong Greek Mythology adventure feel where the characters, world, terms and everything is Chinese though.
I’m assuming that we are in the present life of the main girl, but I’m not sure if she has appeared yet. This story seems like it’s opening up from the guy’s side of the story. Cui Peng seems like the main guy, but I’m not sure if he’s the OTP.
so much hard work to read a book… i feel so lazy lol that’s why my book diet now consist strictly of audiobooks. i think that if have to use google and apps to read book, might as well translate it in the go!! also if i’m on the computer and have nothing to do, will be too distracted by games. But this really sounds like a pretty interesting love square between past & present lives. I smell the wonderful potential angsty lovelines!!!

Can someone tell me who is the OTP? Mianji-Cuipeng? Or Lin Yuxiu-Cuipeng? I can’t read chinese so I use Google Translate, a lot of mess in the translation but I still understand a bit. I don’t like Mianji, I just don’t like the idea that she will take over Yuxiu’s body.
