As promised to Peanuts, posted this funny boss-little worker comedic love story to share!
Actually the synopsis covers the story very well! Xiao Yi, the male lead, is the CEO of a RPG gaming company which Nuo Nuo works at. She is a new employee – but she is smart and capable. She gave up a good job in another company because she really loves RPG games! Nuo Nuo meets Xiao Yi at a matchmaking date her Mum arranges and she is shocked – because her mum told her that her date will be a simple office worker. Also, Nuo Nuo becomes mortified because she actually stated she was married in her office application as her dad advised her that it will make her look more serious (haha). So, she admits to her big boss that she isn’t married.
Their fate starts from there – Xiao Yi’s little brother also likes Nuo Nuo, and Xiao Yi gets Nuo Nuo to go home with his little brother after he finishes school, makes Nuo Nuo wash his lunch box (after she washes another of her superior’s lunch box), etc etc etc. It’s really cute and silly in the usual black belly boss – little worker way.
But then, it turns out that the black belly boss who appears like a BIG BAD wolf, gets tamed by Nuo Nuo, who is not a lamb or a rabbit, but a mother tiger!

Thank you for posting this book for me:) Lidge mentioned abt this book b4 but I’ve forgotten abt it since there are so many novels crying for my attention, lol. Since, you brought this up again, I’ll read it next. Actually there are so many boss & staff love stories, I got so tired of them at a point in life but I am now ready to revisit them, lol. I think you can find a few others like this in SSB. Btw, I beautify this page a bit as I like to post cute stuff, haha……
I notice you’ve this habit of ransacking the author’s stock once you like one of her books:P Normally I will only read a book by that author and will keep other books for future. Is the other book which you wrote is a bored 竹马是只狼?
Hahaha! I know what you mean about boss-staff love stories. It can get quite predictable and cliched, but I like this one – not groundbreaking or anything, but vvv cute. Heehee.
Haha! Ransacking! Peanuts, you make me sound like a burglar. For modern writers, I tend to try another one of their modern novels, not so for writers of ancient c-novels, because ancient c-novels are vvv tiring to read haha. But Dian Xian was an exception.
Yes! 竹马是只狼. I read the first three chapters and started dozing off.
Can’t access the e-book link 🙁
Changed the link. In future, if any link doesn’t work just google the chinese title via copy & paste and type 91babymama.
I took up this “bunny” as well….guess office romance isn’t really my cup of tea but just thought of giving it a go. I ship 2nd lead so my favourite are Xiao Yi’ brother and mo shi-xiong. I actually love Xiao Yi’s little brother….he is equally black belly and can COOK…the excuses he make up are so smart and if not for Xiao Yi, my dear bunny will really be taken for a ride. He initially mistook NuoNuo as a more mature student from his school and try to woo her. He is 18 and she is 22.. So I can still accept it even if they end up together…and it seem that after she marries Xiao Yi, he still carries a special touch for his SIL keeping our BOSS on tiptoe…hee hee.I guess I like these kind of books short and sweet…So this book is a tag too draggy for my liking. But the brothers on the 17th floor are hilarious …I wonder if it can be counted as sex harassment!! I just find her falling in love with her BOSS not as exciting as anticipated
Thank you Peanuts 🙂
LOLS I LOVE THE 17 floor monks too!!! lols
IT is a bit draggy.
I liked the epilogue with Mo Zhi Yuan.
