Who says a couple living together have to be in love or be married?

Xu Li Yin : Hey, Lu Ze Pu, this is my house!!! Why should I give you the keys??

Lu Ze Pu : Because I am moving in!! My father says that he will confiscate my 20% share in the company if I’m divorced.

Xu Li Yin : …..??!!!

Married for three years. And then divorced. A week later, Xu Li Yin finds her ex-husband, Lu Ze Pu outside her apartment with his baggage. Ze Pu tells her that he will have to forgo his inheritance if his parents find out about the divorce. The cunning Ze Pu managed to convince Li Yin to cover up the divorce and allow him to move in with her for a period of two months in order to give him time to pacify his parents.

With the unexpected cohabitation arrangement, Ze Pu turns Li Yin’s life topsy turvy again. She tries unsuccessfully to throw him out, again and again.

Li Yin is born to disagree and bicker about everything Ze Pu says or does. Ze Pu always has the upper hand in all their squabbles, she never wins, but she never gives up, she continues to bicker with him. He sighs……but plays along.

And then, along comes the ex-girlfriend again, who directly caused the couple’s breakup in the first place, adding more spice and flavour to the couple’s already entangled life…..

A light hearted story about an endlessly bickering couple.

With all the bickerings; Ze Pu’s shrewd mind and poor Li Yin’s exasperation, expect plenty of funny moments.

The one thing I dislike about the book though, is that there were too many flashbacks scattered throughout, from beginning to the end. I would have preferred if the flashbacks were concentrated or packed into just couple of chapters in one go.

All said and done, Ze Pu’s black belly ways were still worth reading!!

Btw, Peanuts, don’t be deceived by the cover or the title, the book is so straight and clean that it’s even suitable for children, no mustard at all, just pure green vege.

Aiya, what book XX posted doesn’t have happy ending? In future, don’t need to ask as XX is the HEA girl, lol. She’ll not touch anything with sad or open-ending.

XX, where u find all these obscure books? I think most of them have never been published. You are just like a rabbit who keeps on digging deep into the pit, lol. Wah, so updated. even dug up Lidge’s book. You’ve graduated, so in future, you don’t need me to recommend books to you:P

Yup…..My Shi fu knows me too well. I am definitely the HE girl all the way. All the books that I post are HE and have very tolerable angst.

I’ve been like a bunny, burrowing thru tunnels to get to all these warm hearted books. The thing with me is (as you know), i cannot stomach angtsy books, and a lot of the top rated/popular books have got plenty of heart aches n angst, so no choice, got to search with a magnifying glass. I also find that a lot of books with fantastic reviews are generally not my cuppa tea (of course, there are exceptions like SS)…….so how to graduate?? I absolutely do not intend to graduate yet, my grades are not up to mark…lol…

You definitely need a magnifying glass bcos SS doesn’t have fantastic review. In fact, many complained that this is GM’s worse book and her writing skill has gone bad:( Your angst tolerant level is really low ! That evildoers book is not that angsty & you complained non-stop:P Anyway, I know what you like & will post a few for you soon to laugh your head off, lol.
