Tell Big Bear, I Love Her 告诉大雄我爱她 – 田反 Tian Fan (HE)

dasiong

This book tells the story of whether one can reignite an old flame? If in the end Da Xiong and Xiao Jing do not end up together, isn’t it a waste of their dedicated sweet love? The main plot: Miss Da Xiong and Mr Xiao Jing are once a pair of sweetheart.  A match made in heaven, but were separated by the immaturity of youth.

Separated by the two ends of the earth.

After five years, they meet again.

The first time, she meets him at a wedding.

She said: “Congratulations.”

He said: “You so desperately want me to get married?”

The second time, she rushes to his house and musters up the courage to say: “I want to cohabit with you!”

He said: “I do not cohabit with people, will only get married!”

We were once young and foolish, cry for the people we love, laugh for the people we love. But never thought what will be the outcome five years later. Five years, another five years, life has how many five years? Time is really like the sand hourglass, lost precious time and lost ourselves as well. I think, if things are predictable, we will not become what we are now?

Awww, thank you Peanuts! It sounds like fun and the reunion type is always a plus! I actually really want to read 小时代 to see if it’s any good but I just don’t have the time to read without audio right now ^^ I can always count on you guys here to help me through my dry spells!

Peanuts, do you use Chrome web browser? I used to have the same problem too but I found a solution recently. If you don’t use Google Chrome, install it. I’m emailing you a link and just follow the instructions and it should work like a charm. If anyone else has the same issue and/or would like the link, just let me know!

I tried reading this story, but I lost interest very early. If it’s very good I’ll continue it.

Yup, I heard about a plugin for Chrome that can bypass also. Firefox use to have, but it got blocked.

Tiny Times is being made into drama.

Hey where is my lidge? Are u still around, lol? What books are u feasting yourself lately? Have you read this book? This big bear reminds me of you bcos she loves to eat, lol.

    I can’t find this. Don’t think it’s been translated.
Today, I checked XYW’s Facebook page by Viet fans, and ppl were talking about the cute conversations between JN and HS in Let Me Look At You so I’m rereading that now out of nostalgia. I love the part where they’re teenagers.

Oh, thanks for clarifying it’s the same author as So What That You’re My Student. I know of So What (which has been translated but I haven’t read) so I was able to search again by the author’s name in Viet and found nothing so now am 110% Big Bear hasn’t been translated. Sad because I like reading about female leads who like to eat (for obvious reasons, hehe). Also like reunion stories too.

Haven’t read Eclipse so can’t comment if there’s any change in XYW’s writing style. However, in her last few books, I did feel something was off especially in Mirage. I’ve said this before so pls bear with me, hehe. One of the things, if not the most obvious thing, that really stood out in Mirage was XX’s frustration at the monotony of her marriage. Then I read about you saying XYW wanted to change her writing style. At that point, I couldn’t help but wonder if XYW wrote XX as a reflection of herself. That like XX stuck in a boring marriage for safety, XYW also felt she had to write a certain way because that’s what the fans want and she needs income.

As a reader, I’m OK if writers want to change their style. In everyday life, it’s normal for ppl to get tired of the same job and want new challenges and growth. Same thing with writers. My thinking is that when a writer changes the writing style, there will be reactions from fans. Good writers will assess fans’ reactions and ultimately find a nice balance between how they want to write that will generate positive reviews and satisfy fans. My fear is that there will be pressure for XYW to conform (stick) to a style she’s not happy with. This will make her unhappy, which will affect her writing negatively. When we do things we like and are happy, then we put forth our best effort and the result is usually good, and vice versa.

Wahhh, info about new book already? Drools~ Drools~
INFO plsssssss, if there are any!!!!!♥♥♥
    I WANT, I WANT!!!!!!! Drools~ Drools~
Promised Years? So another main couple with link in childhood is my guess based on the title. If they don’t already have a history, then why “promised years”, right? Or maybe I’m over-analyzing and seeing things that aren’t there, haha.

No feedback on Eclipse Heart yet since it’s just released in China, lol. Gah, if not for you, I wouldn’t know the plot and ending, lol. Given XYW’s popularity, it’s certain that the copyright will be bought and published in Viet. Problem is this will take some time, probably 1 or 2 yrs.

Out of all her books, I feel Let Me is the most perfect one in terms of plot, characters development, pacing of the story. However, my favorite is Waiting4U because the female lead’s personality is similar to mine.

    Peanuts:
Lidge, why u haven’t read So What That You’re My Student since you like teacher & student story, haha? Yah, the boy & girl in this book are rather sweet, typical campus story book. They knew each other since young, sat together in the class then he moved away then they met again in uni. They broke up bcos of misunderstanding, as the girl thinks the guy gonna accept an overseas job proposal so she migrated to US with the family. Later they met again at a mutual friends’ wedding. Why nobody come to Aust, lol?

So What has good reviews but just not in the mood for teacher-student story. Guess I’m just bitter that when I was in school, I didn’t have any good-looking teachers that made me want to go to class. Maybe that’s why I always slept in class, haha. I rarely had male teachers and they were old, like grandpa old or greatgrandpa old.

Even though I can’t read Big Bear, I know what it’s about so thanks peanuts, haha. Yeah, I notice not too many ppl go to Australia, not in books or dramas. Usually they go to either US or London or Paris. Hey, maybe you should start a petition for Australia to be mentioned more, peanuts, haha^^

    Peanuts:

Can’t really petition or else they’ll send those criminal or dying male leads to Aust, lol. I remember in your fav author Ye Ruo Wu Xin’s wolf book, the family migrated to Aust in the end. Unfortunately I don’t like that book, gave up after a few chapters. Also, one ofFei Wo Si Chun’s book where the male lead died of illness & the female lead migrated to Aust, rite? You wait, in future I’ll write a bestseller taking place in Aust, lol.

In YRXX’s wolf trilogy, I haven’t read the first 2 books (the parents’ generation) completely, but I think they take place in China. I did finish the 3rd book (can’t remember the title but something like Please Wait For Me To Grow Up). From what I remember, the plot takes place completely in Australia. Maybe you want to try that because I think it’s kind of cute. Personally, I like Grow Up best out of the 3 books.

Yeah, one of stepmum’s books with a really sad ending also includes Australia but not much mention though. The plot takes place in China and only small part about the female lead immigrating and living in Australia with a child that the male lead didn’t know about. Very sad ending!!!!

Yeah, write books and then after a few, you’ll want to change your style and ppl will complain. Then I’ll post and say “Hey peanuts, you writing a romance or Nobel book?” “Where’s the love?” After that, I’ll boycott you, haha.
