This novel doesnt make any sense. Why did the female MC even go back to live with her evil relatives and act all powerless?
She was thrown into a river to die and after becoming strong she goes back to her killers just for the plot?!?
I forced myself to finish the novel and I have to say it also drags on and becomes a pain to finish.

You find out that she has the highest level of cultivation at the end, even stronger than her ‘op’ husband.
Everyone single event in the book could have been avoided or solved a better way.
The mc is so strong that it somehow lowers her iq.
@wayofflow I didn’t read the book but listened to the audiobook because it is duo sound & pretty well done. It is ranked rather high in ximalaya.
At the beginning it was ok then it got draggy. I lost interest when the couple got together. Like you, I also forced myself to finish the novel by skipping the audio book. Every now & then I think I heard some gruesome stuff being done or befallen some minor characters and I think there are some dyfunctional relationships, eeeeee 😛 After a few years I can’t remember much abt the novel anymore. If it is a good book, I’ll remember it for a long time 🙂
