PK Homewrecker Stepmom: A Young Woman’s Blood PK小三后妈:少女血 by 纪达 Ji Da

13229s

When she was twelve years old, her mother was angered to death by her father’s other woman, she vowed to take revenge. When the other woman married in, she brought her two sons. Because she caused trouble, her two brothers flogged her again and again. She hated her step-mother with all her guts, so she used her feeble ability to resist her. Sell out, add poison, even going as far as to instigate her stepmom and her ex-husband XXOO, and then leading her father to catch the adulterous couple in the act.

After she sold out her older brother once again, she was forced to leave home, and almost starved to death on the icy cold New Year’s night…. She ran away, again and again, traveling through the West and mainland China, begging homelessly and abused, escaping narrowly from death. Even though her big brother and second brother hate her to the bone, but they could not help but destroy the criminal gangs on her behalf, again and again. Killing people until they were numb, saving her from calamity…. She treaded on her big brother’s skeleton and moved step by step towards the future.

Started this today and it’s strangely addicting. I really like her second brother, Qin Nuo. 😀

Is this worth a read? It sounds like a rather strange premise. It’s an awfully pretty cover for such a twisted premise.

When I listen to the audio book, I though this is a ghost story bcos the beginning sound errie & the girl is like a monster, lol. Anyway, I’ll wait for xiaoyuer to finish this b4 I take any action. Hey Atsu, what are you reading?

Yeah, the girl really is a terror. Her hate for the other woman is really deep because the other woman went to her mom’s sickbed and said some crap like “Oh you don’t need to worry about leaving your husband alone. I will take very good care of him.” After that homewrecker left, her mother started to cough up blood and two days later, she passed away. So the girl thinks that the other woman and her father, who horribly mistreated her mom, caused her mother’s death.

She really did get on my nerves for the first few episodes, but after digging deeper into her story, I kind of understand why she’s acting this way. I’m not saying that she’s right, but her father really is a horrible man and her stepmom is also pretty awful to her. Her two brothers are awesome though. I adore her second brother Qin Nuo, but the romance will be with her big brother Ren Shi. The female lead is actually quite funny in a selfish, spoiled way.

I’m wading through Once Promised – around the part where Chiyou takes A-Heng to storm Shennong Mountain to find a cure for the poison. I was taking a break with TangQi’s Pillow Book until I realized that the second part is not published yet, so I put on the brakes before I finished it so I wouldn’t have to wait in so impatiently. I was trying to read Caught in My Own Trap, but I lost interest around where the second lead girl is introduced. I dunno – Zheng Xie is just so. boring. You have any suggestions what I should read? I’ve been looking around for a few options so I could interchange between that book and Once Promised (because it is really heavy and partially because I feel like I don’t really connect with either A-Heng or Chiyou), but I haven’t been able to find something I really like. Any suggestions, Peanuts? Perhaps I should just drop Once Promised again and do the two group reads?

Caught in my own Trap is a fun book but not terribly exciting as the characters are sort of like cardboards. Currently I am mad abt Let me Look at You. I like complex & weepy book. You might not like the flashbacka like Chancy so you might not be able to get into the book but for me this is a very good & realistic book. It evokes a multitude of emotions/thoughts in me & reduces me to a crybaby:( The characters are so different from those sugary books. If you can stomach long & heart breaking book, then join me:) Btw, all are not gloom & doom. There is light at the end of the tunnel so this is a marathon, an endurance walk to the end:) Btw, the protagonist met as children then something happened & they don’t meet again till 11 yrs later so your fav reunion genre:) Oh, I better stop as I can sing praises of this book till the sun set, lol.

That’s exactly my thoughts. Such weird premise and she’s so vicious. I donto like the title either. Lol i have a thing for titles. But these readers i like and they don’t seem to pick bad stuff. Maybe will read if u all think its good.

Soooo strange. Both u and xiaoyuer’s not so liking Chi You is gonna one day dry out much love for him. Gotta add water. Lol

if u don’t mind reading without audiobook, i find Who gets the world pretty interesting and fun. Its pretty wuxia though. That pillow book…..! I shouldn’t have posted it up yet because i didn’t know it was unfinished. Luckily u stopped before too late like me.

Maybe because i read too much heavy stuff so trap was such a happy read for me.

Yes, yes read together with us slowly but you need a happy book to even out the mood. I think it will go well with Trap. Btw the male voice is very good & he should sustain your interest:P Hey Chancy, don’t scare atsu:P There is silver linings on all those clouds:) You should trust my taste in books, lol.

I just read the longer summary from qq website. The book just seems so depressing and nue, so I will probably skip it, unless some one tells me if it’s worth the angst/betrayal.

Huh, this is a depressing book? I thought it is a funny book. Then I am not gonna touch this book since I don’t like the girl.

Oh, I absolutely trust you both! I’ll start on that tonight and perhaps balance it out with trap. As for Once Promised, maybe if I take a break for a little and come back to it, I can finish more. At this point, I like Shao Hao as a character much more, and I want to know more about him, Yun Sang, and Nuo Nai. A-Heng and Chi You fall rather flat on me, but the world is so beautiful. I just don’t really care what happens to the main characters, haha. As for the Pillow Book, I don’t really mind. I love Feng Jiu and find Dong Hua’s silver hair extremely attractive, and since I didn’t get far, I’m just going to get comfy and wait because I would very much like watching Dong Hua suffer a bit, for once.

This is off topic but i am just curious what does PK means or stand for as i see it often on tv abt pk round in many competitions?

Pk little three and stepmom? Or third wheeler stepmom? I also always relate pk with multiround competition. Like pk race. Tried searching but they get me more confused.

I think it stands for ‘player kill’, which is the equivalent of KO in gaming.

Haha i don’t even know what KO stands for. Familiar initials also.

Let us know if its happy ending.

Kill Opponent? I checked this book has 675 chapters so xiaoyuer will probably finish next yr, lol. Btw, did you see Cgege’s funny comment in Mirage webpage, lol. Btw that other guy is an author, what a surprise. I wonder what kind of book he writes.

  25. xia0yuer
    xia0yuer September 11, 2012 at 12:05 am |

Hahaha, I guess you guys don’t game much. I love playing tekken so I know some gaming terms. KO is knock out.

And I’m already about 100 chapters in, but I think I’m going to put this on pause bc the reader has only released 41 EP and I’m already on EP 24…

I both like and dislike this book. I like her brothers (most of the time) but I hate how they beat her. Even if she did deserve it, I don’t think a guy should ever, EVER raise his hand against a girl.

But I don’t think it’s as compelling as Floating Dreams, the Promise of Three Lifetimes, so I recommend reading that before tackling this one (if at all).

Im waiting on that book to finish posting up all the chapters. Ah shou says likely finish it by end of this month or early next month. Currently occupied with a book i don’t quite love, but can’t put down because its written very well.

Oh you mean you don’t love Let me Look at You? Probably it is too heavy for you. As you become more matured like HS or JN age, you’ll like it better:P

尼奥 is an author. I left half of your msg & half of google translated msg for A’Shou & she replied me. She is very nice. Btw I think 任小邪 is singer.
