Ten years ago, a series of mu*ders in the western suburbs resulted in the deaths of four people. When Zhou Liping, not yet eighteen, was arrested, everyone believed he was the culprit. Only Lin Xiangming, a police academy student assisting in the investigation, insisted that Zhou Liping was only responsible for the last mu*der. Zhou Liping was ultimately sentenced to only ten years in prison.
Ten years later, in the dead of night on Saoshuling, a raging fire erupted in the ventilation shaft of an abandoned subway station tunnel. Firefighters discovered multiple bodies at the bottom of the shaft. Surveillance video and physical evidence all pointed to Zhou Liping, recently released from prison, as the perpetrator of this tragedy.
This time, who will clear his name…?
