This is one of the more touching story I’ve come across in awhile. The main girl, Xiao Shui Guang fell in love with her neighbour, Yu Jing Lan over the years and prior the latter’s departure for university studies, she expressed her feeling to him infront of everyone. However, he didn’t reciprocate and told her gently she was drunk. From then on, she kept her distance away and concentrated on her studies. After her high school exam, she called YJL and asked if she can study the same school as him which he replied he will wait for her. Unfortunately, YJL died in a plane crash while on way home just before she start U. From then on, she buried her feelings and every few months, will write a letter to YJL to express her longings.
The male lead, Zhang Zheng Lan first saw XSG when she was crying in the school garden after she read a note left by YJL. They later met in a pub when she was drunk which led to a one night stand. Two years later, ZZL met XSG and pursued her relentlessly even knowing her heart has someone else. XSG decided to give this relationship a try but in the end, they broke up due to some misunderstanding. ZZL cannot forget XSG and went to find her and eventually they gotten back after she discovered he saved her in an car accident.
It’s a simple story but the male lead here is 痴情 type, once he fall in love, he falls hard and is very caring to XSG.
